Two Generations at Sea Text Size A A A

From A. Van Beuren, NY

“I did an amazing family trip (with my siblings, their spouses and my parents—no kids) around the Baltic Sea on the “Sea Cloud,” which was organized by Academic Arrangements Abroad. We had Olivier Bernier (of the Metropolitan Museum) as our lecturer, who always gave all the most salacious details. The food was amazing, the boat was beautiful, and the whole trip was perfect.”

Editors’ Notes: Each year Academic Arrangements Abroad offers numerous trips with Olivier Bernier as lecturer as well as various trips on the “Sea Cloud,” the former sailing yacht of Marjorie Merriwether Post, and its sister ship the “Sea Cloud II.” In 2008, Olivier Bernier will lead trips in Asia, India, France, England, Italy, Spain and Mexico. “The Sea Cloud II” departures that he will accompany will focus on the “Architecture of Spain & France” and “Sailing to Al-Andalus: Catania to Malaga.” Both trips are ten days and are limited to eightysome passengers. From $5,595 per person.
