Melbourne is often referred to as Australia’s culinary capital, and I’m happy to report it’s not an empty bromide. Melburnians take their eating and drinking very seriously, and every night of the week is fair game for a bar crawl or nine-course degustation feast. Because it’s one of the world’s most diverse cultural melting pots, visitors can expect to partake of any number of flawlessly executed national cuisines in this city, from regional Spanish to traditional French, from modern Greek to better-than-Bangkok Thai. Tuck in.
