Post Haus

From a member who visited in February 2008

“The other place for hot chocolate, tea or a glass of Champagne in the late afternoon is the lounge at the bar of the new Post Haus. Modern architecture (I believe it was done by Sir Norman Foster..) with large glass windows and a fire place.”

Editors’ note: A St. Moritz institution has been reborn with a modern twist thanks to resort regular and starchitect Sir Norman Foster. The Post Haus, which opens with fresh croissants and coffee in the morning and keeps buzzing all day, is a fine choice for lunch or dinner. The updated look includes giant black-and-white photos of the Cresta run overhanging sleek leather banquettes. Most popular, though, is the lounge, which opens at 3 p.m. for apres-ski snacking.
