Great Summertime Walks/Hikes
From long-time visitor Michael Bassermann:
“During the summer, the Engadin valley is a fantastic place for hiking. Some of my favorites—for views and great dining options along the way—include:- From St. Moritz to the Landgasthof Meierei, walking along the lake. The food is excellent as are the vistas.
- Fextal: From Sils Maria about a one-hour walk through a beautiful valley with a good restaurant at the end!
- Rosatsch Tal: About one and a half hours from Pontresina railway station. Spectacular views into the Bernina mountains and a nice restaurant at the end (save room for the fabulous desert buffet!)
- Val Varousch: This is part of the National Park, from Zuoz or S-chanf about one hour or less, nice restaurant at the end.”
