Destination: Turkey: Bodrum

Overview Text Size A A A

No single property in Bodrum hits all the right notes for everyone – instead there are a number of five-star options that are best suited either for families, for young couples, for those seeking nightlife, or for those seeking a peaceful retreat. The most luxurious hotels are spread across the Peninsula, from the Marmara Bodrum , which sits on a hill overlooking Bodrum proper, to Amanruya, which lies in a waterfront olive grove on the northeast side, to trendy Macakizi in GolTurkbuku in the north, and Kempinski, which perches on the cliffs far to the southeast overlooking Barbaros Bay. It’s important to remember that it will take between twenty and forty-five minutes to travel from one town to the other, and that many guests prefer to lounge at the beach club of the hotel where they are staying, then venture out for a day trip, meal or night out. Consider this when choosing your base.
