Bodrum town is situated on the southern shore of the Bodrum Peninsula. While this historic port serves as the area’s dining and nightlife hub, some of the peninsula’s most luxurious hotels are in its smaller towns (the Ada is in GölTürkbükü and the Kempinski, on Barbaros Bay), which can be up to a half-hour’s drive from Bodrum proper. When booking your accommodations, consider where you’d like your home base to be.
