Bodrum Museum of Underwater Archaeology
Although its name implies something more exotic, the Underwater Archaeology Museum, in St. Peter’s Castle, the prominent structure overlooking Bodrum’s harbor, is decidedly aboveground. A visit won’t be on every traveler’s itinerary, but children and archaeology buffs will enjoy its displays of treasures recovered from wrecked ships, and, in the castle’s chapel, a fun reconstruction of a shipwreck site.
