For Children Text Size A A A
Caramel Baby
This tiny shop sells sophisticated children’s clothes, many of which are designed by grown-up fashion stylists, in neutral colors and high-quality fabrics. Unfortunately, the sizes only go up to age 8 so petite moms can’t fit into the collection.
Daisy & Tom
This fantasy toyshop comes complete with a working merry-go-round, children’s hair salon and a huge array of toys, books and clothing.
Rachel Riley
Rachel Riley’s Fifties-inspired children’s clothes are sweet but enduring. She sells companion styles for mothers as well and carries wonderful old-fashioned children’s shoes for those who like their little darlings dressed in traditional style.
Sasti
A mecca for funky children’s wear from newborn size to age ten. The company was started by some mothers who wanted comfortable stylish clothes for their little ones and vowed to have everything made within the UK. Fleece tops with bull’s eyes on the front and Union Jack blankets and leggings in bold stripes are what you’ll find.
Semmalina
A fairytale princess’ dream of a children’s boutique that was founded by the former British newscaster Emma Forbes and her sister journalist Sarah Standing. They wanted to showcase whimsical clothes and toys for spirited little girls and the mothers who want to indulge them with tiaras and frou-frou skirts. There’s even a castle backdrop and a vanity table for playing at dress up. The shop’s success has led them to a side business in creating “starbags,” which have become the “it” party bag for London’s toddler set.
