Longmire
This independent British jeweler specializes in gold and silver cufflinks for true connoisseurs. While they carry a huge range, including enameled and jeweled styles, Longmire is known for its unique designs that will identify the wearer as a man of power and strong personality. There are three separate shops in London with the one on New Bond Street featuring the haute couture line and the original shop in Bury Street displaying more traditional pairs. The custom department will memoralize your dog, family crest, company logo, initials or plane’s tail number in enamel or engraved cufflinks. Some recent designs: a small silver handgun, a pavé diamond bull’s head and a white gold skull with a top hat and sapphire eyes.
Solange Azagury-Partridge
Designed with constellations glittering from the ceiling so that women can literally step into a twinkling evening setting, this boutique showcases the whimsical designs of Solange Azagury-Partridge whose collectors include the Louvre Museum and modern jewelry-loving divas such as Madonna. She helped to revive Boucheron in Paris but is now focused on developing more of her own iconic designs like the Poison rings that pop open to hide treasures within.
Theo Fennell
In the heart of Chelsea, jeweler Theo Fennell works with a team of craftsmen to create his iconic pieces of silver and jewelry in the same building that houses his flagship store. He is best known for his Key and Cross designs, which set him apart as a modern silversmith, but his haute couture lines have established him as a contemporary alternative to the more traditional fine jewelry houses. After all, Cartier and Asprey are unlikely to introduce diamond encrusted skulls.
