With more than forty-five restaurants, Courchevel 1850 offers lots of options, from slope-side cafés and crêperies to some of the country’s top tables. For haute-cuisine lovers, there are two restaurants with two Michelin stars (Le Bateau Ivre and Chabichou). At the latter, you can try the lobster and scallop salad with warm-leek-and-truffle vinaigrette, but don’t miss the local specialties, like the Beaufort cheese tarts, the goat-cheese and mushroom “crozet” pasta and the salads garnished with bacon or truffles—all of which are served in local brasseries. Reservations are advised for all options and can be made by your concierge.
