L’Escale

This portside haunt, which became mythic in 1960s, has just been snazzily refurbished. It’s trendy, but you can always count on their seafood, from fresh oysters to grilled fish. Another idea is to check out the Le Quai Joseph and Le Grand Joseph (by the same owner), just around the corner, both bar-restaurants that are usually packed with beautiful people looking to meet their fabulous friends.

Pearl Beach Restaurant and Lounge

This cavernous restaurant and lounge is fast becoming a popular nightspot thanks to an enchanting, oasislike setting. Guests sit under palm trees on a large wooden deck surrounding a blue-marble basin with a gurgling fountain and graced with decadently oversize daybeds. The menu is a mix of Mediterranean-cum-Polynesian cuisine, but most people come for the film-set atmosphere.
