Elounda Bay Palace
The sister resort to Elounda Beach, Elounda Bay sits directly on the edge of Mirabello Bay on the northeast corner of Crete. Like its sibling, Elounda Bay has its own beach, pool, spa and restaurants, but guests here also have full access to the facilities next door as well as their own. The advantage to staying at Elounda Bay, a lovely but slightly less glamorous resort, is twofold: price and family-friendly activities. The rates are a good deal lower than at Elounda Beach, and the resort houses the pair’s kids club, meaning parents can drop their tot for the day but still be close should separation anxiety kick in. Additional amenities that appeal to families include a shopping village, watersports and even a miniature golf course.
