De.Light

Says Indagare’s London-based contributor Elena Bowes:

“This lovely 18-room boutique hotel in Aghios Ioannis opened in July 2012. It has a pretty beach and is in a lovely location in a residential, upmarket neighborhood. Seeing how busy Mykonos gets, it’s a delight to stay a bit removed from the center of town. De.Light, named after the amazing quality of light in nearby island Delos, is a great spot to escape to after visiting the busy parts of the island.”

Theoxenia

Mixing a fresh, modern aesthetic with 60’s glam elements, the boutique hotel Theoxenia has fifty-two rooms with views of the ocean or gardens. Guests can take a dip in the free form swimming pool surrounded by landscaped gardens or linger over a drink at the balcony bar overlooking the water. Greek-American Indagare Insider James Hirschfeld considers it one of the best hotels on the island.
