Giorgio Baldi

Samantha Gregory, the Vice President of Global Communications at Tory Burch, recommends:

“Another favorite of mine is Giorgio Baldi in the Palisades. It’s the most romantic restaurant, and the linguine imperiale (made with lobster) is incredible.”

Jaan

Located at the Raffles L’Ermitage, Jaan is an intimate restaurant serving elegant California cuisine with a French accent: morel risotto, Chilean sea bass with sweetbreads, herb-roasted chicken with chestnut stuffing. Dishes are perfectly presented and service superb. I loved the delicate arctic char tartar with fresh papaya, avocado and dill. The small garden courtyard is adorable, with a fountain, a kiva oven and comfortable chairs and outdoor sofas. Even if you don’t have time for dinner, it’s a charming spot for appetizers and drinks—and there are dozens of wines available by the glass.
