Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels

Located downtown, within walking distance of the Music Center, Disney Concert Hall and MoCA, this soaring contemporary space designed by Spanish architect José Rafael Moneo, with monumental bronze doors by L.A. sculptor Robert Graham, is the first Roman Catholic cathedral built in the western U.S. in thirty years. Open Monday – Friday 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Free tours Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday at 1:15 p.m. Free organ concerts Wednesday 12:45 p.m.
