Provo Golf Club
Providenciales
(649) 946-5991
This eighteen-hole championship course, designed by Karl Litten, is the only one in TCI, and games here are made more challenging by the region’s famous trade winds. The beautifully landscaped, course snakes around several ponds and lakes (you may spot egrets, herons and flamingos), and conch shells mark each tee’s difficulty—a local touch. $160 for eighteen holes.

Provo Ponies

Indagare Insider Tiffany Schauer recommends: “When you surface from 1,000 leagues under the sea, you shouldn’t miss horseback riding on the beach with Provo Ponies. Cantering along turquoise water or rushing into the surf on a ‘sea horse’ is one of those moments essential for the memory bank of a life truly lived.” Provo Ponies offers morning and afternoon rides for all levels (groups are kept to eleven people or fewer), though private tours can also be arranged. They accept children five years and older.
