Savarona

For the ultimate cruise along the Bosporus or beyond (ideally to the St. Tropez of Turkey, Türkbükü), rent out the 446-foot-long Savarona, once the personal yacht of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, founder of the Turkish republic, and the biggest non-royal yacht in the world. Built for the granddaughter of John A. Roebling, who built the Brooklyn Bridge, and outfitted with antiques and art, it comprises 260 tons of marble, a swimming pool, a Turkish bath, a cinema and a museum suite dedicated to Atatürk, decorated with some of his own furnishings, the craft truly feels like a floating palace (and has hosted people from Valentino and Nicole Kidman to Prince Charles and the sultan of Brunei). With seventeen double suites that sleep up to thirty-four people, it can be chartered by the week.
