Destination: Havana

Family Friendly Text Size A A A

Indagare Insider Pamela Ruiz has lived in Havana for more than a decade. Here are her tips for families traveling to the island.

It really depends on the age group. If you have kids who are into baseball, you want to take them to a game. You’ll also want to plan in some beach time. From Havana, it’s a 25-minute drive to the beach. All beaches are public and they’re beautiful. I always recommend taking a picnic, because Cuba really doesn’t have a beach culture like other Caribbean islands and there are not good food options along the beach.
