New this season in the pink gingerbread-style Treasure Houses (next to the Purple House) is one co-owned by the island’s iconic designer Lotty Bunbury. An English woman who moved to the island with her husband, Michael, the resident doctor, Lotty began painting on silk to create elegant satin sarongs and caftans. The stylish global visitors loved finding something so sophisticated and unusual and soon Lotty’s designs were appearing in Town & Country and at Calypso. Her four children inspired her to add a line for toddlers as well, and she has since added dreamy caftans and lounge pants to her collection. Her entire collection will be sold here along with housewares, jewelry and gifts that she and her partner, Nicky, select on their travels. There will also be a small café.
