Review
Opened in the 1950s, Hôtel des 3 Vallées was transformed into a modern and chic design hotel in 2013 and today includes 31 cozy rooms with an intimate ambiance. The hotel sits within close proximity to Courchevel and the slopes.
The spacious lobby lounge area feels like a private home's living room and is the gathering point at the hotel, with a big fireplace, multiple comfortable seating areas and wonderful coffee-table books to peruse.
While the 31 rooms are modest, they are perfectly comfortable and decorated with exposed wood beams, fur throws and vintage accents. Plus, all rooms have balconies with unobstructed mountain views. The best accommodations are the large Privilege rooms and the two-bedroom suite that is deal for families.
On property, there is a fine-dining restaurant helmed by a Michelin-starred chef that serves delicious Alpine cuisine, but the hotel’s great location means guests can also walk to Courchevel’s best restaurants and shops. There is a ski shop beneath the hotel, and the chair lift to the slopes is an easy stroll away. After a long day on the slopes, the spa, sauna, Turkish bath and large Jacuzzi beckon.
Who Should Stay
Hôtel des 3 Vallées is perfect for families looking for a cozy, value option near the slopes.
