The newest chalet—it debuted in December 2008—of acclaimed company CK Verbier is a four-bedroom extravaganza that features contemporary interiors in a traditional Swiss chalet. The living and dining rooms lead onto a large terrace with spectacular mountain views across the Val de Bagnes. Interiors are done in beautiful antique pine, and a large open fireplace with raised seating around it keeps things cozy. The top floor is reserved for the spacious master bedroom and its adjoining study, dressing room and terrace. There’s an open-plan kitchen and dining room, and built-in seating surrounds the fireplace. Bella Coola sleeps eleven, and all bedrooms have private bathrooms (separate showers and tubs). As at all CK Verbier properties, the wine cellar is stocked and top-notch. From about $30,000 a week.
