What I wish I knew in advance: The only advice is to catch the direct flight from JFK to Turks and Caicos if you live in NY. It makes the trip so much faster and less stressful than stopping in Miami. What not to miss: Evening and early morning walks on the beach. They put everything in perspective
What we loved: The privacy. We stayed in a private residence on the beach with a pool and a butler, offering absolute seclusion away from the main resort.
