A Summertime Grand Tour Text Size A A A

European Grand Tours were popular in the 18th and 19th centuries amongst young, aristocratic Englishmen looking to discover the continent’s riches. While today the ability to travel the world for months at a time is not a possibility for most, the desire to examine and reflect on the vast cultures of Italy, France and Spain and beyond has never dissipated.

Indagare members return to Europe’s capitals in the summertime to introduce their children to magnificent artworks and enterprising cuisine; to explore previously unchartered territory; and to reconnect to destinations adored since their own parents took them.

Member postcards not only inspire the Indagare community but they provide helpful tips and updates from these vibrant locales. After all, these regions might boast multiple centuries of history, but they are buzzing cities with frequently changing hot spots, renovations and secrets to be discovered.
