Indagare Family Trip: Esencia Text Size A A A
We know that finding family vacations that balance the interests of well-traveled parents with the fun and comforts of young children can be a challenge to orchestrate. To make things easier, we are introducing our first signature Indagare Family Trips , so you can book memorable getaways designed with activities that appeal to all ages built in.
There’s a reason Esencia—a beachside resort on Mexico’s Riviera Maya —feels so much like a private home: it used to be one. The former estate of an Italian duchess, Esencia has quickly become a favorite of Indagare members for its relaxed but refined atmosphere. Situated on fifty lush acres with a gorgeous, two-mile stretch of white sand and turquoise waters, the resort offers two pools and a palapa-roofed spa. The Mayan ruins at Tulum are nearby.
The Indagare Family Trip includes three-night accommodations in a suite for a couple and up to two children under the age of twelve, plus complimentary daily breakfast. Parents will particularly appreciate the two hours a day of “Nanny-on-Call” service, allowing them to slip off to the spa for a treatment or enjoy a grownups-only dinner at the resort’s restaurant, Sal y Fuego, which is known for its fresh seafood. Other highlights include a family spa day with massages for the adults and chocolate massages for the kids; and a two-hour cooking class specially designed for young chefs. Rates begin at $1,999. Call Indagare for details or to book: 212-988-2611.
Getting There: You would fly into Cancun, where the hotel would pick you up. (Round-trip airport transfer is included in the package.)
