This catering company, Austria’s most famous, runs two restaurant in Vienna, including the one in the Albertina museum. The branch located on the seventh floor of the Hass Haus, on the Stephansplatz, has the most spectacular views of Vienna’s famous cathedral, the Stephansdom. Request a table on the terrace which overlooks the 200,000 colorful ceramic tiles that form beautiful patterns on the roof of the Stephansdom.
The Do & Co, which comes highly recommended by several foodie friends, also has two impressive private function rooms on the building’s top floors; particularly the glass-encased space on the ninth floor, just big enough for a long table for up to ten people, is perfect for hosting a special dinner with 360-degree city panoramas.
Be sure to reserve well in advance (for New Year’s, the DO & Co restaurant is booked for the next seven years). If you cannot get a table, drop by the Onyx Bar on the sixth floor for a drink and similar vistas.
