What was your favorite new travel discovery?
Auberge de la Mole, in the South of France. What a joy in the midst of the craze of St. Tropez to find an authentic and gastronomical delight in a small village: the town of La Mole. There were vats of pâté, a side potato dish that was sliced like a pie and produced general fits of delight, family-style bowls of chocolate mousse. And on top of all its other goodness, our dinner at Auberge de la Mole was the most reasonably priced dinner of our entire stay. It was beyond divine (and we have many photos of the pâté to prove it).
