Indagare Trip to Marrakech: Itinerary Text Size A A A
ARRIVAL DAY: SUNDAY, APRIL 25
Arrive Marrakech Guests will be met at Marrakech Menara Airport. You will be met by your expert guide and receive expedited assistance in clearing customs and immigration. From the airport, you will be escorted in an air-conditioned luxury vehicle directly to your hotel.
Check-in at the Villa des Orangers, an exquisite and unique Relais & Chateaux boutique hotel surrounding three lovely courtyards – an oasis of calm and tranquility only a ten-minute walk from the Djemaa el F’naa. Enjoy excellent service, swimming pools, a rooftop terrace, and a real Moroccan sense of hospitality.

Visit Begin your exploration of Marrakech. Visit the 12th-century tiled minaret of the Koutoubia mosque, the defining landmark of Marrakech. From here, explore the ancient pink-walled medina, followed by the colorful souks of Marrakech. In the early evening, visit the frenetic Djemaa el Fnaa.
Dinner Dine at Le Tobsil, the gourmet choice in Marrakech, owned by French chef Christine Rio.

DAY ONE: MONDAY, APRIL 26
Breakfast at your hotel.
Lunch This morning, enjoy a hands-on private cooking lesson at La Maison Arabe, with one of the hottest chefs in Morocco.
Tour Continue your guided tour of Marrakech. Highlights include visits to the medieval Medersa ben Youssef (koranic university), the Musee de Marrakech, and the Dar Bellarj cultural foundation.
Afternoon Tea Stop for tea or orange juice at the beautifully restored Dar Cherifa, which houses a cultural foundation, bookstore, and art gallery (with rotating exhibitions).
Dinner Not included in price: Dinner is at leisure tonight.

DAY TWO: TUESDAY, APRIL 27
Breakfast at your hotel.
Tour Start your day with a visit to the former home of Yves Saint Laurent and the Majorelle Gardens, followed by the Islamic Art Museum located in the home of painter Jacques Majorelle. Visit the opulent Saadien Tombs.
Lunch Enjoy lunch by the pool of the legendary La Mamounia.
Visit The afternoon will be focused on shopping, including a visit to a non-profit collective that runs an embroidery workshop and provides services for disabled women and girls. Meet the director of the project.
Dinner Have dinner on the rooftop of Le Foundouk a chic bar-restaurant featuring Moroccan cuisine with a Mediterranean flare.

DAY THREE: WEDNESDAY, APRIL 28
Breakfast at your hotel.
Visit Leave Marrakech this morning for a one-hour drive to the foothills of the Atlas Mountains.
Check-in at Kasbah Tamadot, Richard Branson’s retreat in the High Atlas. Nestled in the rolling foothills of the High Atlas, the Kasbah was extensively renovated with a unique blend of Moroccan colors and textures.
Lunch Enjoy lunch on the terrace at Tamadot.
Afternoon You will have the afternoon at leisure. The spa and hammam (traditional Turkish steam bath) at Kasbah Tamadot offers a full array of treatments. Enjoy a game of tennis or a swim in the indoor or outdoor pools. Or, if you prefer, a quiet afternoon in the Kasbah’s well-stocked library.

DAY FOUR: THURSDAY, APRIL 29
Yoga Enjoy an early-morning meditative yoga session in the gardens at Tamadot.
Breakfast at your hotel
Hike After breakfast, enjoy a scenic half-day hiking excursion through the mountainous landscape.
Lunch Picnic lunches will be prepared for you.
Visit In the afternoon, visit the restored 12th-century mosque at Tinmal (approximately 1 ¼ hours each way from Tamadot). After this visit, you will be hosted in the very simple home of an interesting lady living in a local village, where you will join her for a glass of fresh mint tea and sweets.

Overnight at Kasbah Tamadot.
DAY FIVE: FRIDAY, APRIL 30
Breakfast at your hotel.
Check-out You will be escorted in an air-conditioned luxury vehicle to Marrakech Menara Airport (about one hour) for your departing flight. You will have expedited service at the airport.
