From Indagare member Holly Parmelee:
We just spent a heavenly week celebrating my father’s 70th birthday in Punta Mita, Mexico. We stayed at a 5-star beachfront villa, Casa Majani, that had a full staff as well as access to a private beach and tennis club a golf cart ride away. We felt perfectly safe within the complex and the locals that we met could not have been nicer. Our group of 14 ranged from an infant to my father (70) with various ages in between.
Punta Mita was a perfect place for this group. The older people generally chose to relax, read and eat at the villa while the younger kids took advantage of surfing, boogie boarding, yoga, golf and bike riding. We had lunch at both the St. Regis and Four Seasons and both places were excellent. It is usually hard to find a vacation spot that would suit the needs of an extended family, but we all agreed Punta Mita delivered on all levels.
