Its art-collector owner has both an incredible eye and a passion for entertaining, so the public areas are striking and ideal for large gatherings. There’s an enormous master bedroom suite and living area off the main living area and a path through an exquisite tropical garden leading to three smaller guest cottages. The infinity-edged pool has magnificent views of St. Jean and St. Martin. Rates from $25,000 to $40,000 a week, depending on the season.

SIB KAY, Anse des Cayes A gorgeous new contemporary five-bedroom house with seductive indoor and outdoor spaces, Villa Kay looks like the setting for a Calvin Klein photo shoot. Located on the Anse des Cayes, the villa has a remarkably private, oasis-like feeling but is just a short drive to Gustavia and St. Jean. Rates from $21,000 to $50,000 a week, depending on the season.
