Nantucket: Strategies: Getting Around

If you go off-season, the easiest way to get around is with a car, unless you plan on staying put in Nantucket town, where almost everything is within walking distance. In the summer, traffic is utterly congested, and it’s best to bike or use the excellent bus service, which has routes all across the island.
