This restaurant and bar, in a classic 19th-century whaling house in the center of town, reopened its doors in 2005 after being shuttered for almost two seasons. The dining rooms and the moody cellar bar can get crowded and noisy during the summer, but the Brotherhood’s new patio, with tables, umbrellas and an open-bar area, is fabulous. Facing the calmer back of the property, it is a nice spot for an early-evening cocktail.
