Paris: Where to Shop: Overview

One of the great pleasures of Paris shopping is to explore off-the-beaten track to find those special boutiques that offer items you cannot find back home. My favorites are located in the well-known shopping neighborhoods—St.-Germain-des-Prés; the Marais; Avenue Montaigne; Palais Royal—but some are also outside the familiar neighborhoods, like Anouschka, a vintage fashion boutique close to the Gare St.-Lazare. You’ll find treasure in all of these stores; the only question is which side of the river to tackle first.

Recently posted: Dozens of additional stores, including many jewelry, accessories, fashion, home and children’s boutiques. Plus reports on the new Dries Van Noten outpost and Bonpoint Left Bank flagship, with a charming in-store café as well as new finds like Camille Fournet and R&Y Augousti.
