N. K. Jain’s impressive fifty-year-old bookshop has an in-depth collection of reference books on Indian culture, many of them rare and out of print. The key: for approximately $15, any book can be hand-bound in brown, green or red leather and its title hand-stamped in gold on the spine. The shop also sells handmade paper and will custom make leather-bound photo albums. Orders may be shipped anywhere. Hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily, but it’s a good idea to call ahead to confirm.
