Reto Mathis has created a slopeside empire at Corvigilia, where skiers and non-skiers (lots of fur-clad folk ride the train up from St. Moritz) gather for lunch. With six different dining options, ranging from the gourmet La Marmite, where you can sit down to a three-course meal with lots of Champagne and caviar as many Russians do, to the outdoor Terrazza for traditional Swiss comfort food enjoyed on picnic tables in the sun.
