Leading the Way: Last Seats: Baseball opening series in Tokyo

Last Seats: Baseball opening series in Tokyo

Calling all Red Sox fans: Kinetsu, the official travel partner of the Major League Baseball association, has just a few more openings on a special series trip to Tokyo this March. The Japanese capital is hosting Major League Baseball’s opening series, in which the Boston Red Sox play two regular season games against the Oakland A’s and one exhibition game against Japan’s own Yomiuri Giants. The travel itinerary includes round-trip airfare between Boston and Tokyo, four nights at the New Otani Tokyo, access to a private Red Sox workout and a reception with select players, lower-level tickets to all three games and guided sight-seeing. Best of all, the Red Sox are also staying at the New Otani, so you might find yourself bumping into David Ortiz in the lobby or sharing an elevator with Daisuke Matsuzaka, the team’s Japanese pitcher.

DETAILS:The dates are March 22-27, 2008. Rates start at $4,999. To book, contact Kinetsu at 800-422-3481 or visit www.kintetsu.com.
