Concierge Tips: Dining with Robert M. Parker Jr.

Dining with Robert M. Parker Jr.

Perhaps no organization has championed the fine wine cause in China more than ASC wines, the country’s leading wine importer and founder of numerous wine classes and clubs, including the recently opened Wine Residence in Shanghai. This May, ASC will host two dinners with the renowned wine critic Robert M. Parker Jr., creator of the 100-point wine rating system and publisher of The Wine Advocate. One will take place on May 23rd at the Noble Seafood Restaurant in Shanghai, the other on May 24th on the Great Wall near Beijing (Brian McKenna, head chef at Shangri-La Beijing’s Blu Lobster restaurant, will cater). Both feature 8 wines, rated 94 or higher by Mr. Parker, are limited to 40 participants and cost RMB 15,888 (approximately $2,267) per person. Book immediately as space is already filling up.
