Beijing: Strategies: Getting There

The surging China economy is reflected in the ever-increasing number of flights from all points of the compass. Daily service to Beijing is offered from most major American cities by the national carrier, Air China, and various U.S. airlines. Try to avoid Air China if possible; it has improved in leaps and bounds during the past few years and its fleet is new, but the crew members still don’t always grasp the service and hospitality concept. Another option is to fly the excellent Cathay Pacific to Hong Kong and then on to China with its subsidiary, Dragonair.
