Gay Gassmann, Contributing Editor for Architectural DigestOn the heels of the inaugural AD x Indagare trip to Marrakech in the fall of 2018, I was excited to immediately start planning our next trip to Beirut. Marrakech was amazing and special for so many reasons—the spectacular visits to private residences and gardens, wonderful, festive meals and camel riding at sunset—but perhaps one of the most wonderful things was meeting and sharing these once-in-a-lifetime experiences with such a great group of people. Gay Gassmann, Contributing Editor for Architectural DigestI have been going to Beirut on a regular basis for several years now, and I am so excited to be sharing this vibrant and fascinating place with a group of like-minded travelers. We will of course see the iconic sights, but we will also enjoy gracious hospitality in private homes and experience the joy and wonderful lifestyles of our friends in Beirut. (Photo by Julio Piatti)
Melissa Biggs Bradley, Founder and CEO of Indagare
I have been to Marrakech more than a dozen times, and I never tire of the buzz of the souk, the elegance of the palms against the ancient medina walls, the handmade artistry on display everywhere and the sunset against the snow-topped Atlas Mountains.
Melissa Biggs Bradley, Founder and CEO of IndagarePartnering with Architectural Digest allows us to go inside some of the most stylish houses in cities around the world. When locals or expats welcome you into their homes in these destinations, you gain a deeper understanding of the culture and lifestyle of these unique places. In 2019, we will travel to regions with amazing design traditions and exuberance, including Jaipur, Beirut, Madrid and Tangier. In every place, we have tapped into a community of friends and design makers who are passionate about sharing their beloved hometowns and unique perspectives with us.

In Marrakech, a visit to Jardin Majorelle, the historic 1920s garden that Jacques Majorelle created and Pierre Bergé and Yves Saint-Laurent saved, is essential—it is impossible to enter that magical jungle and leave unchanged. (Photo by Gabrielle Langdon)
