Born in the Southern Kyushu island of Japan and raised in California, Emily grew up in a bilingual, multi-cultural household. She loved traveling to Japan every summer to visit her family so much that she couldn’t pass up the opportunity to move back for a year-long research project after college. While there, she backpacked throughout the country and fell in love with solo traveling. Having recently relocated to New York, Emily is excited to embark on new adventures in her exhilarating new home.
