In the suburbs of Milwaukee, Katherine grew up dreaming of exploring new places and eager to escape the cold Midwest winters. She discovered her love for adventure travel during her 5 months living in Australia and exploring New Zealand and Fiji, where she did everything from scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef to bungee jumping in Queenstown to sky diving in Fiji. With every adventure, her curiosity about new places and cultures grew. Before Indagare, Katherine worked in the travel department at National Geographic, which allowed her to further her worldly knowledge and explore human archeology in southwest France and on Spain’s northern coast. When she is not traveling, Katherine loves trying new restaurants, attending concerts and volunteering at the Humane Society.
