Kathryn Nathanson, Global Experience Team
Director of Global Experience
A study abroad program in Florence, where she studied Renaissance history and cooking, is what sparked Kathryn's infatuation with travel. This was her first international experience, and it forever shaped her desire for cultural and culinary discovery. Since her summer abroad in Italy, Kathryn has seized every opportunity to jump on a plane. Some of her favorite travel memories include enjoying leisurely winery lunches in Mendoza, visiting Shakespeare's birthplace in Stratford-upon-Avon, shopping the souk in Marrakech, and exploring The Neighbourgoods Market in Cape Town. Kathryn graduated from The Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University with a degree in journalism and history. Prior to joining the team at Indagare, Kathryn worked at NBC's TODAY Show and at a public relations and strategy firm specializing in restaurants, food and lifestyle brands.
Favorite meals abroad: Contramar in Mexico City for the tuna tostadas, L'Avant Comptoir in Paris for the most perfect small plates, i Latina in Buenos Aires for whimsical creations from all corners of South America, and Il Profeta in Florence for the pasta.
