Kira’s love of travel began during childhood family vacations, when she kept extensive travel journals and wrote miniature guides. While growing up outside of Washington, D.C, her appetite for adventure grew as she spent summers in Paris, studied writing in Spoleto, Italy and embarked on school trips to San Francisco, London, Chile and Argentina. An English and Art History major at St. Olaf College in Minnesota, Kira spent five months on a 'global semester' which took her across the world, from the bazaars of Istanbul to the beaches of Thailand. She joined Indagare's editorial team after graduating, allowing her to combine her passion for travel with her love of writing.
