Laura’s passion for travel is fueled by her love of exploring new landscapes and cultures. Laura grew up in central Pennsylvania, where her family hosted exchange students from countries such as Costa Rica, Thailand, and Hungary. She had her first taste of travel at the age of ten, when her family visited Italy for a few weeks during the summer; later, trips to the National Parks, Hawaii and Budapest furthered her curiosity. Laura graduated from Penn State with a degree in nutrition and spent time working as a collegiate field hockey coach and health/fitness coach. She also spent a few months living and exploring in France and Switzerland. An avid lover of the outdoors, Laura is happiest when hiking or biking. When she’s not planning her next adventure, you can find her running along the Hudson River or checking out a show in New York City.
Favorite Travel Memories: Swimming with sea turtles in Hawaii; paragliding in the Swiss Alps; hiking in the Cinque Terre; and hiking to find Cala Coticcio beach in La Maddalena
