Meredith fell in love with travel at age eight during a two week road trip through the Southern US. Her fascination with foreign cultures grew as she studied French, Italian, and Mandarin in school and later traveled as much as possible while studying abroad in Rome. Meredith graduated in 2010 from Amherst College with a BA in Political Science and a focus on East Asia. She still likes to rent a car and hit the road, with more recent road trips through Wales and Portugal, and loves adventure travel and cities alike. Some memorable experiences have been boating down the Amazon in Peru, hiking around glaciers in Iceland, exploring the Atacama and Gobi Deserts, and visiting favorite cities like Stockholm, London, Hong Kong and Cartagena.
