Rose first unearthed her passion for travel and food at age 12 when her family moved to London. Returning home to New Jersey five years later didn’t keep her from continuing to explore and immersing herself in other cultures. A service trip to Cartagena, a semester abroad in Sydney, relaxing with family on the beach in St. Martin, skiing the Alps in Austria and sailing around the Dalmatian islands along Croatia’s coast are among some of her favorite trips. Rose graduated from Miami University of Ohio with a degree in Psychology and Marketing and worked in healthcare advertising before joining the team at Indagare.
Most memorable travel experiences:
The rattle of the Land Rover as a lion roared at Singita Sabi Sand in South Africa; meeting a geisha in Kyoto; riding in a horse drawn buggy through the Gap of Dunloe in Ireland; a lazy lunch at La Colombe d'Or; waterskiing on Lake Como; hang-gliding over Byron Bay.
Favorite NYC restaurants:
Le Turtle for modern French fare (and the bread service which comes with truffle butter); the Spotted Pig for its lively scene (and shoestring fries), Via Carota for a rustic Italian meal, Gramercy Tavern for dinner with the parents.
If you could live anywhere other than New York, where would it be?
I think I’d find myself back in London…
