Rose Taylor, Bookings Team

Senior Director of Travel Product, African Safari
Rose's love of travel began at age ten when her family moved to London for what turned into a spectacular four-year experience. England's many public holidays gave them the chance to travel throughout Europe and Africa.

After a brief stint in advertising post-grad, Rose found her way to Indagare Travel in 2014, where she was able to put her passion for travel and travel planning skills—and eventually her operational mindset—to work in various roles as the business grew and the company scaled. A few years into her time at Indagare, Rose's love of the Sub-Saharan African experience blossomed, and Africa became the focus of her travels whenever possible. She has traveled extensively throughout the region—from visiting the semi-nomadic Himba tribe of northern Namibia to the rehabilitated elephants of Abu Camp in Botswana—and leverages that travel knowledge and expertise in her current role.

Outside of work, Rose sits on the Board of Directors of U.S.-based non-profit Maloto, an organization that helps feed, educate and empower the women and children of northern Malawi, also known as the 'warm heart of Africa.' Rose has visited the programs in Malawi four times and developed great friendships with many Malawians over the years. She currently lives in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn with her soon-to-be husband and Lagotto Romagnolo dog, Barolo, or 'Rolo.'
