Simone Girner, Creative Director
Indagare’s creative director, Simone Girner, was born in Germany and raised in New York. Before joining the founding team of Indagare, she worked as an editor at Town & Country Travel where some of her favorite journeys included skiing in Cortina and exploring the Maldives. Prior to Town & Country Travel, Simone spent three years living in Paris, where she was a contributing editor for Departures and also frequently wrote for Vogue. Simone received her BA in English and French from Vassar College. She lives in New York City but hopes to one day divide her time between the United States and Europe.

A spicy Szechuan dinner at a hidden kitchen in Hong Kong. A seaside lunch at La Cialoma, on the southeastern coast of Sicily. A curry and rice extravaganza at Tri, in Sri Lanka. A winery lunch at Pegasus Winery, in New Zealand.
Favorite Recent Trips:
Sri Lanka: wild, undiscovered and heartbreaking. Mozambique: untouched and with the most pristine white sand beaches. New Zealand: so beautiful it seemed otherworldly. Sicily, a completely fascinating, varied place — I can't wait to return. And Bordeaux, an unsung treasure of a city that feels like a mini Paris without the chains and tourist crowds.
