When Tess moved to New Orleans to attend Tulane University, she discovered what it meant to truly fall in love with a destination as she explored the city through Po'Boys, jazz music and parades. During college, she studied abroad in Amsterdam and backpacked through Europe, where she realized that traveling was not merely a passion, but a necessity for her. Upon graduating, Tess was awarded a Fulbright grant in South Korea, where she implemented an arts-education curriculum in a suburban middle school and lived with a local family. She traveled through Asia, where highlights included snorkeling in the Indonesian islands and eating Yakitori in Tokyo. Whether she is wandering around her neighborhood of the West Village or traveling across the globe, Tess is always looking to meet new people and experience new things.
