Born and raised in Connecticut, Wellsley spent holidays exploring the world, whether it was embarking on summer excursions around Europe or skiing in North America. During her studies at Georgetown University, her adventurous nature led her to study abroad twice, once in London and once in Prague. Her semester living in Prague opened her eyes to different cultures and the power of travel as it allowed her to partake in adventures like dog sledding in Norway, canoeing in Slovenia and relaxing in one of her favorite destinations, Mallorca. Wellsley enjoys all types of travel, from outdoor excursions in nature to urban exploration—with the discovery of new cuisine always one of her top priorities.
