Software Engineer

The Software Engineer is responsible for primary development of our website, scripted tools, and third-party applications and integrations. Reporting to the Director of Technology, the Software Engineer will ensure that systems remain online, in optimal operating condition and speed, are secure, and meet business objectives. What You’ll Do

  • Develop using standardized best practices and the latest applicable technologies
  • Work with other departments (i.e. creative, marketing) to gather requirements, plan and implement custom optimal solutions
  • Manage website development, maintaining and growing our large, content-heavy custom WordPress site using plugins and custom code
  • Work with technology leadership on the planning and initiation of new and updated functionality on the website, CRM, marketing tools, accounting system, and other third-party integrations
  • Execute upon plans to amend and develop functionality
  • Review designs and mockups received by the content and creative staff and implement, ensuring successful completion and rollout of plan
  • Answering support tickets regarding any technology-related issues
  • Handle server-side monitoring (no heavy configurations required)
  • Optimize existing code set using plugins or custom code for SEO, speed, and usability
  • Implement forms on site by integrating client CRM systems/scripts
  • Implement tracking scripts
  • Update CSS
  • Create logic to speak to custom fields
  • Spin up staging environments
  • Assist with one-off development and updates of custom systems and plugins

 

What You’ll Bring

  • WordPress development experience required (PHP, CSS, JavaScript and HTML)
  • Knowledge of custom field mapping and XMLRPC protocol
  • Experience integrating sliced PSD files (usually already converted to HTML/CSS) into WordPress or another open source system
  • Experience with responsive design, responsive page building
  • Excellent problem solving, research, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in fast paced, fluid operating environment and a willingness to constantly learn and drive business
  • Ability to interpret and/or discuss technological information with staff members across the organization
  • Ability to independently recognize complex issues, develop and present solutions, and execute plans
  • Familiarity with JSON, RSS, XML preferred
  • Content migration experience a plus
  • CRM implementation knowledge a plus
  • Adobe Suite knowledge a plus

Bookings Project Manager

The Bookings Project Manager will partner with the Operations Manager to take the lead on the majority of Bookings-related operations projects. You will drive efficiencies by developing systems, processes and tools that help build enterprise value and drive the business forward. You will act as liaison between Bookings and other departments where necessary. Your success will be measured by how effectively you identify, implement, execute and manage the integration of key bookings operations projects into the day-to-day of the Bookings team. What You’ll Do

  • Gain and grow your understanding of Bookings strategy and Bookings team areas of opportunity to ensure project alignment with company’s strategic vision and objectives to aid in achieving revenue targets
  • With input and oversight from Operations Manager, lead management of ~75% of Bookings-related project management and work to include (but not limited to):
    • Roll-out of new systems, processes, tools and technologies
    • Further on-boarding program material development and refinement of pre-existing materials
    • Ongoing educational material development and refinement of pre-existing materials
  • Assistance in managing supplier relations including general on-going supplier communications to improve working relationships, meetings and/or phone calls with new suppliers to determine fit for Indagare, comparing hotel group revenue reports versus actuals
  • Communicate directly with Bookings team to gain input and buy-in as well as to educate and ensure compliance with new systems and processes
  • Liaise between Bookings and other departments as it relates to project development
  • Assist in overseeing and providing input to the Office Coordinator as it relates to their on-going Bookings support including (but not limited to) management of on-call schedule, staff travel, teach-in decks process, help in maintaining Bookings tools (i.e. Festive availability and villa spreadsheets)
  • Research and provide innovative solutions to any bookings-related issues

  • Unique operations perspective from 2+ years of operations experience
  • In-depth understanding of inner-workings of Bookings team and operations process and Vision Zero

Associate Membership Manager

The Associate Membership Manager is responsible for handling client engagement, acquisition, and inquiries. The position reports directly to the Senior Membership Director, working directly with the Senior Membership Manager on both strategic and tactical initiatives. What You’ll Do

  • Respond to all new requests for membership information, converting leads to members and providing a smooth transition from membership to trip planning
  • Achieve assigned monthly acquisition goal individually and collaborate to achieve monthly team retention goal
  • Manage a set group of members in Salesforce, including: coordination, management, tracking and evaluation of all membership and renewal activities
  • Partner with Membership and Marketing (fondly known as “Marketship”) teammates to identify opportunities and execute plans related to acquisition and engagement
  • Engage clients whose memberships have lapsed to determine why they chose not to renew
  • Collaborate with the Senior Membership Manager on the development of retention programs
  • Collaborate with trip planning partners to ensure the best client experience through weekly meetings and building an on-going relationship across the teams
  • Handle customer service inquiries by simultaneously providing excellent service to the client and advocating for the team
  • Generate ideas and strategy to add value to membership, drive referrals and thoughtfully grow the base
  • Develop strategy for acquisition events and introduce potential new members to Indagare’s travel planning services
  • Collaborate with Senior Membership Director to develop services and programs that add value and enhance the membership experience
  • Work with Senior Membership Manager to ensure financial tracking of membership

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum 2-3 years selling experience, preferably in a membership services role
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Experience serving a very sophisticated, affluent, upscale clientele preferred
  • Ability to determine sale type (light touch v. hard sale) in real time, based on interactions and communications with potential clients
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, entrepreneurial, high performance environment and deliver results
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical, communication, collaboration, presentation, project management and organizational skills
  • General understanding of PNL
  • Experience with Salesforce and HubSpot a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully, both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to maintain a positive, focused, organized, diligent and resilient mentality
  • Must have a passion for travel

Flights Operations Manager

The Flights Operations Manager will oversee all aspects of the Flights department at Indagare. You will be responsible for partnering with the team of Trip Designers (Bookings Department) in cultivating and building strong member relationships with a focus on driving flights bookings. What You’ll Do

  • Develop and own execution of Flights strategy that aligns with the company’s strategic vision and objectives to achieve revenue targets
  • Manage and coach a team of Flights Specialists and Flights Operations Assistants in their client-communication and ticketing
  • Work in partnership with the Trip Designers to coordinate and ticket domestic and international flight arrangements for our members’ travel
  • Research and provide solutions to any flight-related issues a member may experience with arrangements made by Indagare
  • Communicate directly with our fulfilling partner to ensure the Flights team is fully informed on standard operating procedures and accurately apply airline rules, regulations, tariffs, and fare requirements to Indagare workflow
  • Work with accounting department to manage department’s P&L, with responsibility for achieving top line and profitability targets

Travel Operations Assistant

Indagare is seeking a Travel Operations Assistant to partner with a Trip Designer to manage the logistical and operational needs of all trip-planning activities that will enable our members to discover authentic experiences and make remarkable journeys. Read More | Apply

What You’ll Do

  • Ensure all-important details are gathered to put together a trip itinerary. This includes:
    • Corresponding by phone and/or email with hotels and other suppliers (tour guides, ground operators, etc) to check rates and availability
    • Making and confirming reservations and services
  • Create and edit detailed trip itineraries
  • Prior to each trip, organize all materials and send out departure packages to our members
  • Expand your knowledge of destinations via Indagare training to grow into a Trip Designer or Travel Operations Lead role
  • Cover for the office receptionist when needed
